The Communication department oversees the internal and external church information and news. It is charged with ensuring the work of the church is brought to the attention of the community and keeping the worshippers informed of relevant developments, events and needs
The importance of planned and well-coordinated communication at the Benoni Central Seventh Adventist Church is vital. The Communications team provides support to all the departments and also works with the leadership team to coordinate communications across all parts of the wider Adventist network as and when required.
Developing a positive relationship with external stakeholders is vital to ensure that the voice of the church is heard and the Gospel is spread widely. Even more critical is developing robust internal communications activities that will continue to align members behind the objectives of the church and its leadership while maintaining a sense of community.
The Communications Department aims to:
- Promote church and it's activities in a coherent way,
- Improve communication with those whom it has contact with,
- Make it easy for people to find out about the church services and events,
- Establish special interest groups and human networks for use by the membership,
